With the end of apartheid in South Africa and the ongoing economic crisis in Zimbabwe, the border between these Southern African countries has become one of the busiest inland ports of entry in the world. This Actuvirtual Symposium engages with Dr. Francis Musoni’s book entitled, Border Jumping and the Control of Migration in Southern Africa (IUP 2020). Dr. Musoni will talk about how migration or ‘border jumping’ is an everyday reality with a long history, especially in Africa.
