This Actuvirtual Symposium is committed to Mphuthumi Ntabeni’s novel, The Wanderers (Kwela, 2021), inquiring into how literature thinks the violence of colonial modernity in certain countries in Africa, and remembers infinite exile and love, loss, mourning, and transgenerational relations and struggles that shape the human condition.
