Tendayi Sithole is Professor in the Department of Political Sciences, University of South Africa. He is the author of The Black Register (Cambridge: Polity Books, 2020) and Steve Biko: Decolonial Meditations of Black Consciousness (Lanham, MD: Lexington Books, 2016). Sithole’s two forthcoming books in 2022 are titled Discourse on Decolonial Prayer (Bayreuth: iwalewabooks) and Mabogo P. More: Philosophical Anthropology in Azania (New York and London: Rowman and Littlefields International). He is currently a 2022 Writing Fellow at the Johannesburg Institute of Advanced Studies and he is working on two book projects, namely: Azania and Its Conjunctions (which is in its final stages) and Vinny Da Vinci: A Biography (which is in preparation stage). Sithole is a founding member of Africa Decolonial Research Network and also a co-conspirator in forming the Azanian Jazz Study Group.
