Dr Iman Ghodratitoostani:
President of the JIAS Alumni
Iman Ghodratitoostani was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1982. He has received the BSc in Biomedical Engineering from IAU, Iran. He funded a knowledge-based enterprise, and he selected as the youngest entrepreneur in the field of research in Iran in 2010. He received MSc degrees in Neuroscience and Cognitive Sciences from the UFABC in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He followed his Ph.D. in the multi-disciplinary project in computer sciences department of the University of Sao Paulo meanwhile he has granted by Neurocognitive Engineering Laboratory and leading the multidisciplinary Tinnitus rehabilitation project.
He performed his duties as Co-director and senior-researcher in NEL since 2016. He has designed and conducted several clinical studies in Emotion regulation, Brain stimulation, functional MRI and EEG in Cognitive Rehabilitation platform by support CeMEAI-CEPID of Sao Paulo Research Foundation. He attended to the several international workshops and conferences as well as the Colloquium of why the brain matter in JIAS at 2016. He serves as invited reviewer in different journals, like Scientific Reports (Nature), and Cognitive Neurodynamics (Springer).
