JIAS recently welcomed Professor Thabane Vincent Maphai who joins the institute as Senior Research Fellow. Prof Maphai has worked in the private sector as well as public service and his academic career spans two decades. Before joining JIAS Prof Maphai was visiting-Professor at Williams College in Massachusetts until June 2018 when he retired from full-time work after 48 years.
